IKEA Website Redesign

A modern refresh of the IKEA website — designed to enhance usability, streamline navigation, and create a seamless online shopping experience that still feels like IKEA: functional, friendly, and inspiring.

This redesign focused on creating a more intuitive flow for customers browsing on any device. I restructured the homepage, simplified the navigation, and built clearer content sections so users could find what they need without the digital wandering.

The design language was kept clean and minimal, using IKEA’s familiar typefaces, spacing, and iconography — while modernizing the UI to feel more spacious and mobile-friendly. From room inspiration to product filters, every piece was built to feel like a calm, well-styled showroom.

Because better UX = less friction = more time for planning your dream space.

IKEA Catalog Redesign

A refreshed take on the nostalgic IKEA catalog — reimagined to highlight products through better layout, storytelling, and visual flow, while preserving that iconic IKEA personality.

I started by analyzing older catalog spreads, noting how product density sometimes competed with readability. My goal was to preserve that “browse-worthy” feeling while making the layout feel more breathable and editorial.

I introduced more negative space, balanced typography, and a visual rhythm that guides the reader’s eye from product to detail to price. Photography remained the star — but with cleaner grids and fewer distractions, the products feel more elevated.

It’s a nod to IKEA’s roots in print, with a layout that supports both utility and inspiration.
